Black Friday 2026 Appliance and TV Deals in the UAE: A Buying Guide

A step-by-step guide to choosing a TV or large appliance on Black Friday without regret, covering size, panel types, energy labels, delivery and returns.

Black Friday 2026 TV & Appliance Guide, UAE

TVs, fridges and washing machines are some of the purchases people save up for until Black Friday, because a price difference on them is a real amount of money. This category also has traps: heavy items, delivery and installation, and hard returns if you pick wrong. So this is not a list of deals. It is a guide to choosing well, comparing properly and buying without regret.

Reference date: global Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November 2026. Gulf stores usually start a few days earlier and continue to the end of the month, but dates vary by store. The season overview is at Black Friday 2026 in the UAE: Every Working Discount Code in One Place.

First question: start with your priorities

Before browsing offers, write a short list of what you actually need. A product you need at a moderate discount beats one you do not need at a huge discount. Rank by urgency: a broken appliance that needs replacing is different from an optional upgrade that can wait for another season.

TV buying guide

Size versus your room

The practical rule: measure the distance between your seat and the screen. The longer the distance, the larger the screen you can use. Do not trust how a TV looks in a showroom, because big stores flatter the eye. Also measure the wall or unit space, including the frame and stand, and if you will wall-mount, check the mount type.

Panel types in plain words

  • Standard LED/LCD: the most common and usually the cheapest. Blacks are less deep in dark rooms.
  • QLED and similar: improved colour and brightness over LCD, depending on the brand’s naming. These names are marketing terms that differ between brands, so read the specifications rather than the label.
  • OLED: every pixel lights itself, so blacks are very deep and contrast is excellent. Good for films in a quiet room, and usually pricier.

What matters in practice: is your room bright for most of the day? Then brightness matters more. Do you watch films in the dark? Then contrast and black depth matter more. This is general information, and every model has its own specifications on its page.

Refresh rate (Hz)

This is how many times the picture refreshes per second. A higher number means smoother motion, which helps with gaming and sport. If you mostly watch series and news, the difference will not change your experience much. Check the native refresh rate, not the “effective” figure some brands advertise, and read the official specifications.

Other TV points

  • Ports: how many HDMI ports you need for a console and a soundbar.
  • Smart platform: check that the apps you use are available.
  • Stand: whether it is included or sold separately.
  • Warranty: from the local distributor? Ask specifically about panel coverage.

Large appliances: fridge, washer, AC, oven

Energy efficiency label

A cheaper appliance can cost more on your electricity bill over the years. Check the energy label on the unit or the product page and compare two models at a similar price. We cannot give you a savings figure because it depends on the model and how you use it, but take consumption into account, especially for air conditioners and fridges that run all day.

Delivery and installation

  • Ask whether delivery is free or paid, and whether it covers carrying the item to an upper floor.
  • Ask whether installation is included, especially for air conditioners and washing machines that need water and electrical connections.
  • Measure your door, lift and corridor before ordering a large fridge.
  • Ask about the delivery slot. Appointments get delayed in sale season, so order early.
  • Inspect the item before you sign. Look for scratches, dents and torn packaging.

Returns and exchanges

This is the difference between a comfortable and a painful experience. Before paying, read:

  • The return window and conditions for this category, since some stores restrict large appliances once opened or installed.
  • Who pays return shipping.
  • Whether you must keep the box and original packaging.
  • What to do if the item arrives faulty.

Small appliances: air fryer, vacuum, blender, coffee machine

You usually feel the offer fastest on small appliances, because the price is lower and the decision is easier. But:

  • Do not buy just because of the discount. Ask yourself if you will use it every month.
  • Read reviews and check the warranty period.
  • Check the plug type on the product page.
  • Check spare parts and accessories are available locally.
  • Compare bundles. A bundle with accessories is sometimes cheaper and sometimes not, so price each item separately.

Which store has a working code here?

Frankly: in our current list of working codes, only Noon has a code that applies to this category. We have no working code for Amazon, Carrefour or other electronics retailers, so we will not give you one. Compare their offers yourself and rely on the advertised price.

Noon code NCCC12 is cashback, not an instant discount:

  • New user: 10% cashback up to AED 50.
  • Repeat user: 5% cashback up to AED 10.
  • Valid for the UAE and Saudi Arabia, among other Gulf countries, until 31/12/26.

To see how it plays out: the cap is what rules. On an expensive item such as a TV you will not get the full percentage, only the maximum. So treat the cashback as a small bonus to weigh against price differences between stores, not a reason to skip a cheaper price. More on the store: Noon.

Table: questions to ask before any purchase

Question Appliance Why
Will it fit through the door and lift? Fridge, washer, large TV Avoids problems on delivery day
What screen size suits my seating distance? TV Bigger is not always better
Is the room bright or dark? TV Decides brightness versus black depth
What is the energy label? AC, fridge, washer Affects the bill over the long term
Is installation included? AC, washer Some need a technician
What is the returns policy after opening? All large appliances Differs from store to store
Who gives the warranty? All The local distributor is usually easier
What was the price before the season? All To confirm the discount is real

How to tell the discount is real

  1. Record the price two to three weeks before the season in more than one store, with the date.
  2. Compare the exact same model number. Stores sometimes list similar models under different names, which makes comparison hard.
  3. Work out the final price: the appliance plus delivery, installation and any fees.
  4. Do not trust a countdown timer on its own.
  5. Be careful with “limited stock”. Check the specifications of the model on offer, because some deals are on older versions.

FAQ

Is Black Friday a good time to buy a TV?

Often yes, since stores focus their offers on electronics, but confirm by comparing with the price before the season.

LED or OLED?

It depends on your room and budget. OLED gives deeper blacks for dark-room viewing, while a bright room makes brightness more important.

Is there a discount code for appliances?

We have Noon code NCCC12, which is cashback with caps. We have no working codes at the moment for Amazon, Carrefour or other electronics stores.

Should I install the AC myself?

It is better done by a technician or the store’s service. Ask whether installation is included in the offer or charged separately.

What if the appliance arrives faulty?

Do not sign for it before inspecting it, photograph the fault, and contact the store straight away under its returns policy.
