A guide to buying perfume and makeup at the lowest real price this season, with the working UAE codes, their conditions and a simple way to spot fake discounts.
Perfume and makeup are among the categories people wait for most during the sales, and also among those with the most confusing “discounts”. You see a crossed-out price and a big percentage, then discover the old price was never really charged. This guide focuses on one thing: how to buy your perfume and beauty products at the lowest real price, and which store’s code works under which condition.

Before the season: know the real price
The most important step, to do now, weeks before the offers start:
- Pick three to five products you really want (a perfume, a foundation, a palette, a body mist).
- Note each one’s price on your phone, with the store name and bottle size.
- Check the price twice in the two weeks before the season. If a price changes suddenly just before the offers, that is a sign worth noticing.
- Compare the exact same size. A 50 ml and a 100 ml bottle cannot be compared on total price.
Without this list, any discount percentage you see is just a number on a screen.
Working codes for perfume and makeup in the UAE

Saudi-only note: Bath & Body Works code ZJJ0 (5% off the whole site) is listed for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait only, so it does not work for UAE orders.
Victoria’s Secret
ZVF1 is written as “10% maximum discount on full-price items”. If a product is marked down in the season, do not expect the code to add to it. It is best used on a non-discounted product you really want, such as body mists and sets that sit at full price.
Majed 4 Oud
MM51 carries 10%, and the condition in the code terms is “out of season”. We cannot say for sure whether that means products outside the season or an exclusion for seasonal products, so do not count on it during Black Friday week until you have tried it in the basket. The store specialises in oud and Oriental perfumes.
Bloomingdales
ACS4 has two important conditions: the discount applies to full-price items only, and for beauty it is limited to the “Bloomingdale’s Picks” range. So it is not on every beauty product. Note also that the written terms say “SA only”, even though the country list includes the UAE and Kuwait. Because of that mismatch, test the code in your basket before you plan around it.
Mumzworld
Mumzworld is known for baby products, but MHH24 gives 10% and its terms do not name specific categories. If your basket has care products or gifts, try the code and see whether it is accepted.
NiceOne
NiceOne is one of the best-known beauty retailers in the region and worth following through the season, but we have no code to recommend for it right now. Rely on the store’s own offers and compare prices as described in this guide.
Bath & Body Works

How do you know a perfume discount is real?
- Compare with your own record, not with the crossed-out price. The “old” price on a site can be higher than any price it was actually sold at.
- Check size and concentration. The same name can come in different concentrations (eau de parfum or eau de toilette), each with its own price.
- Look at several stores. Open at least two for the same perfume. The gap tells you what a reasonable price is.
- Read the code condition before paying. A “full price only” code does nothing if everything in your basket is already discounted.
Tester or full box?
A tester is the display version of a perfume, usually without a fancy box and sometimes without a cap. It is normally cheaper, but note:
- Does the store officially sell it as a tester, and say so on the product page? If the description is vague, ask customer service.
- A tester is not suitable as a gift. A gift needs a box and wrapping.
- For your own use, if packaging does not matter to you, a tester is worth comparing, provided the seller is trusted and states that it is a tester.
- A full box is better if you want the store’s warranty and a clearer returns policy. Read the returns policy before buying, because some stores do not accept returns on opened perfume.
Gift sets: when are they worth it?
Sets show up a lot in the season, usually combining a perfume with a body mist, lotion or a small extra size. To see if it is a good deal:
- Add up the price of each piece in the set separately at the same store and compare it with the set price.
- Ask yourself: will you use every piece? A piece you will not use is not a saving.
- Some codes exclude bundles and sets. Check the code condition before relying on it with sets.
- If it is a gift, a set is usually better than separate pieces, because the packaging is ready.
Makeup: buy the basics first
In makeup, a big discount on a shade that does not suit you is not a bargain. Our advice:
- Start with products you know and repurchase (your shade of foundation, the mascara you use).
- For new products you are trying for the first time, buy the smaller size if there is one.
