Saudi-only note: Bath & Body Works code ZJJ0 and Mothercare code ZVT4I are not for the UAE. ZJJ0 is listed for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and ZVT4I for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain, so do not rely on either one from a UAE address.
What is White Friday, and where does Yellow Friday come from?
White Friday is the Gulf name for Black Friday, the biggest sales season of the year. Many Gulf retailers adopted the name, while Noon runs its own season under the name Yellow Friday, after its brand colour. Three names, one season: a week or more of the deepest discounts of the year, usually followed by Cyber Monday offers. The shoppers who save the most are the ones who prepare in advance.
When does it start?
Black Friday itself is on Friday 27 November 2026. Gulf stores often open their offers a few days earlier and some keep them running to the end of the month, but each store sets its own dates and we do not have them yet. Treat every store-specific date as expected until the store announces it. A realistic picture:
- Now: the right time to plan, track prices and sign up for store accounts.
- Early November: teaser offers often appear and prices start to move.
- The week before 27 November: early offers are expected from the big stores.
- 27 November: the global peak.
Codes and sale prices: check the terms first
A common mistake is buying at the sale price and never trying a code. Many codes can still add value on top of a sale, but not all of them, because every code has its own rules:
- Full-price-only codes such as H&M ZH42 and Foot Locker ZZ4L9 will not help on items already marked down.
- Codes that cover sale items too, such as H&M ZM12 and Go Sport KK29, are better suited to sale days.
- Cashback codes (Noon NCCC12, Namshi NMSH15) pay you back after the order and have a cap, so they do not reduce the total at checkout.
The simple test: fill the basket, note the total, apply the code and compare. If the total does not move, the code does not apply to that basket.
Noon: NCCC12 on top of Yellow Friday
Noon is the centre of the season for many UAE shoppers: electronics, phones, home appliances, fashion and fragrance. Code NCCC12 is cashback of 10% up to AED 50 for new users and 5% up to AED 10 for repeat users. Because of the caps, it works best as a small bonus, not as a reason to pick Noon over a cheaper price elsewhere.
Namshi: NMSH15 for fashion and sneakers
Namshi is the go-to for fashion and footwear. NMSH15 gives 5% cashback to new and repeat customers, capped at AED 10. It is a modest extra that sits on top of the season’s offers.
