Black Friday 2026 Phone Deals in the UAE: A Buying Guide
A practical guide to buying a phone in the Black Friday sales: when to start watching prices, how to check the discount is real, and what to verify before you pay.

The phone is the product people most often put off until Black Friday, and also the one where it is easiest to slip up, because the price is high and the differences between offers are hard to spot. This guide will not promise you a particular discount, since the real prices only appear in the stores when the sales begin. What it gives you is a way to buy sensibly: when to start watching, how to tell a real discount from a fake one, and what to check before you tap “buy now”.
A reminder on timing: global Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November 2026. Gulf White Friday usually starts a few days earlier and runs to the end of the month, and it differs from store to store. Which kinds of phone are worth waiting for?
We cannot give you a number for the discount, but there is general logic that helps you focus:
- Models that have just been replaced by a newer one: stores usually want to clear last generation stock, so a clear discount is more likely. If you do not need the latest release, watch this group.
- Mid-range phones: competition between brands is tough, so you often see more offers and bundled gifts than at the top end. This is a general impression, not a fixed rule.
- The newest flagship from any brand: discounts are usually smaller, and the offer sometimes comes as a gift or instalment plan instead of a lower price. Always compare the value of the gift with what it costs on its own.
- Accessories that come with the phone: headphones, chargers, cases. Sometimes they are the best part of the deal, not the phone.
Well-known brands such as Huawei, Samsung and Apple are usually sold at several stores, so you can compare one device across them. Note that we mention them here only as product categories; we do not have specific codes for them.
Compare the price two to three weeks before Black Friday
The most important step, and the simplest. It costs nothing:
- Pin down your exact device: model, storage size and colour. A storage difference alone can change the price a lot, so never compare phones with different storage.
- Record the price in at least three stores two to three weeks before the season, with the date. A note on your phone is enough.
- Use price history if the store offers it. Some stores and comparison sites show how a price changed over time. If you cannot find one, rely on your own notes.
- Watch the “price before discount”. If the crossed-out price is far above what you recorded, the advertised discount is exaggerated. The real discount is the gap between the new price and the lowest price you saw.
- Set a price ceiling in advance. Decide the highest price you will pay, and if it does not reach that, wait for the next offer or the next store.
The same idea runs through all our season articles: do not trust the discount percentage, trust the gap between what you paid and what you would have paid.
Warranty and the official distributor in the UAE
This is where many people lose out. The cheapest price without a warranty is not always the cheapest:
- Ask: is the warranty from the local distributor or an international one? A device that originates outside the UAE may not be covered by the local distributor on the same terms. Read the warranty policy on the product page.
- Check the seller is the store itself or a verified seller. On marketplaces with several sellers, open the product page and look at “sold by” before paying.
- Check the IMEI on delivery: match the number on the device with the one on the box and the invoice.
- Open the box in front of the courier if you can, and photograph the handover. If something is faulty or missing, a return is much easier.
- Check the version. Some devices come in market-specific versions, with differences in the charger or SIM. Ask the store if you are not sure.
- Keep the invoice in electronic and paper form. It is the key to your warranty.
Instalments: a useful option, but watch the details
Instalments reduce the first payment, but remember:
- Ask for the total final amount, not only the monthly payment. Some plans add fees or cost more than the cash price.
- Compare the instalment price with the full payment price. Sometimes the discount applies to direct payment only. Read the terms.
- Check the length of the plan, the date of the first payment and late fees.
- Do not let the payment exceed your monthly budget. A gadget is not enough reason to take on a long commitment.
- Ask whether a return cancels the instalment plan automatically and how long a refund takes.
These are general checks. Each store’s and financing provider’s terms change, so read them at the time of purchase.
Trade-in: get the best out of it
Some stores let you hand in your old phone for a credit towards the new one, and some do not offer the service. If it is available:
- Find your old phone’s value from more than one source before accepting the first valuation.
- Clean the device, back it up and sign out of your accounts before handing it over.
- Ask how the value is paid: instant discount, store credit, or money back to you.
- Compare trade-in with selling it yourself. Sometimes selling directly gets you more, and sometimes the convenience covers the difference.
Noon code NCCC12: cashback on your purchases
Noon is one of the stores with a working code on our list. NCCC12 gives cashback, not an instant discount, with these conditions according to the code terms:
- New user: 10% cashback up to AED 50.
- Repeat user: 5% cashback up to AED 10.
- Valid for the UAE and Saudi Arabia, among other Gulf countries on our list, until 31/12/26.
On an expensive phone the cashback is limited by the cap, so do not expect the full percentage on the price of the device. Think of it as a small extra on top of the offer, not a reason to choose Noon over a cheaper store. Cashback also means the amount comes back after the purchase according to the store’s terms, so read when and how it is credited before you pay. More about the store: Noon.
Table: what to check before buying
| Check | Why it matters | How to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Model, storage and colour | Storage changes the price | Match the product page and your note |
| Price before the season | Tells you whether the discount is real | Record it in 3 stores two to three weeks before |
| Seller | Some stores include outside sellers | Look at “sold by” on the product page |
| Warranty | Decides your rights if it breaks | Read whether it is the local distributor’s |
| Device version | It can vary by market | Ask the store if unsure |
| Instalments | They can raise the total | Ask for the final amount and all fees |
| Returns policy | Protects you if it does not suit | Read the window and the opening/packaging rules |
| Cashback or code | A small extra, not the basis of the decision | Check the terms and cap at checkout |
| Delivery | Proves the condition of the device | Open the box, photograph it, match the IMEI |
Final tips for a calmer season
- Save your payment details and address before the rush. Do not set things up at the moment the offer starts.
- Do not buy under a countdown timer. If the offer is real, it will wait five minutes while you compare.
- Watch the phone for weeks beforehand, not only in the last days.
- Work out the total price: the phone, plus shipping, any fees and the accessories you will need.

FAQ
When should I start comparing phone prices before Black Friday?
Two to three weeks before the season. Record the price and the date in more than one store so you know the real discount.
Should I buy a phone with an international warranty if it is cheaper?
Read the terms first. A warranty from the local distributor is usually easier to use in the UAE, so weigh the price difference against that convenience.
Are instalments better than paying in full?
Not always. Ask for the final total, compare it with the cash price, and read the fees and returns terms.
How does Noon’s NCCC12 work?
It is cashback: 10% up to AED 50 for a new user and 5% up to AED 10 for a repeat user, valid until 31/12/26.
Do you have codes for Huawei, Samsung or Apple?
No. We mention them here as product categories only, and we have no working code for them at the moment.
